If you have allergy to wool this yarn doesn't trigger any symptoms. Colors are fantastic.
I purchased Rowan Softyak and it arrived really quickly and is a lovely soft, warm yarn. I'm ordering more in different colours.
Softyak is a wonderfully silky soft mix of cotton and yak which feels great against the skin and is truly lovely to knit with.
Soft and smooth and very easy to work with. Also I love the way that Woolstack vacuum package it for posting - makes it so easy to store at home if you are not going to use it immediately.
Its composition of 76% cotton, 15% yak and 9% nylon means this yarn has a stunningly soft handle and is a perfect transeasonal yarn. All Softyak DK shades feature a slight mélange effect, due to the yak fibres remaining undyed. It is also static resistant and anti-microbial, which keeps fabric fresher for longer!
Great for: Scarves, hats, accessories, garments.
