This wool is just incredible. Soft, warm, fine just wonderful. It reminds me of what knitting with spider silk might be like, but fluffier. The knitted yarn has a wonderful cobweb quality. I have recently been knitting with chunky wool so the change from large needles to fine ones is a real change, but there is something more satisfying, I think, knitting with very fine yarn like this. Plus I have only recently discovered woolstack. And they are fabulous too. I'm a big fan of both.
I am finding this material very easy to work with I am using a no 13 and no 7 needle and its making up into a beautiful cardigan that has a luxurious feel to it and its so soft. Like a dream
I've been using Rowan's Kidsilk Haze for years in both knit and crochet pieces. It is a lovely yarn to work with and makes a beautifully ethereal fabric - especially when making lace items. It does take some practise to use it with larger gauge needles and hooks and keep good tension, but well worth the effort. The only reason this is a 4 and not 5 star review, is that I have found knots in skeins before and I save my 5 star rating for the super luxurious types of yarns! Highly recommend Kidsilk Haze - especially against other mohair / silk blends.
