Just loved seeing the pattern miraculously develop as the sock grew. Amazing! Nice fine wool to knit with. Got 3 socks out of one ball. Beware though, the free pattern is not always for socks. Easy Opal sock pattern downloadable from the internet though.

Fir the past 3 years I have bought Opal sock wool. It washes well in the washing machine and has such a wide range of patterns. This particular pattern reminds me a my childhood. I have also used the Hundertwasser collection too - again great the knit with, consistent quality and wonderful colours.
Opal is one of my favourite yarns. Lovely colours. Will be sure to order more at some point.
