Colour not as advertised.
Whilst the yarn feels soft and of good quality it was absolutely nothing like the colour of the advised photograph and s therefore not suitable for the project it was purchased for. It is altogether a red tone in person and something I would never have purchased had I seen it in a shop so therefore I cannot give it a high rating. We take extensive care to ensure the pictures for hand-dyed Malabrigo are a good representation of the yarn we have in stock - including checking every new bag against the picture we're using before making it available, and every order against the picture used when it was purchased before packing it up to send out. While we use calibrated monitors to do the checks, not all displays are made equal, and some, phones in particular, can have non-standard colour profiles. Yarns can also look different in different lighting conditions and when the skein is unwound. A further potential issue is to use someone else's picture as Malabrigo can vary *wildly* - particularly this colourway and a few others. Please only ever use our pictures when ordering from us (and don't use our picture if ordering from someone else!)
