Luxury yarn at a non luxury price

This Malabrigo silkpaca yarn is dream to own . I shall be knitting a luxury shawl/scarf called Sakura. It is a joy to work with and a pleasure to see evolving the pattern.

Luxury yarn in a gorgeous colour

This yarn is beautifully soft, and the mix of colours is gorgeous - very deep, but subtle enough for the changes in colour not to detract from the intricate lace pattern. [I'm knitting "Monet" from this months "The Knitter". The yarn is very fine and easy to knit with.

Description

Wearing an item made of Malabrigo's Silkpaca is like wearing a cloud! This yarn is 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk, which makes it 100% luscious. Soft, silky, with just a bit of halo. Despite being Malabrigo's thinnest yarn, it is plied and sturdy - perfect for lace projects and very special objects that are sure to become precious heirlooms.

Great for: Lace, shawls, scarves, diaphanous garments.
