Malabrigos Rios is the most beautiful yarn to knit with imaginable. Really smooth. However, The colour variations within one name are unexpectedly vast so buy for a whole project at one time.
As with all Malabrigo products, this is beautiful yarn. The colours in Liquidambar are stunning and varied enough that even with a 3.75mm needle, I was getting colours changes every 2-3 stitches. A word of warning though. The hire of each skein is quite different. I bought 2 skeins for 2 different projects. One skein was very green, whereas the other was much more of a blue. If you are using this colourway on a large project make sure you do some serious overlapping when it comes to adding new yarn.
Very good colour for my pattern. Sadly some rather chunky joins in the yarn
Lindissima.
Soft, strong, and washable, this worsted weight yarn is Malabrigo's workhorse! The plies help resist pilling and washability makes it fantastic for frequently-worn garments, housewares, and children and baby clothes. And like all of Malabrigo's yarns, it’s super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear! Spun from premium superwash merino, it comes in an array of watercolour-multi, semi-solid, and variegated colorways.
Great for: Accessories, garments, baby and kids items, housewares, toys, cables, textured stitches, colorwork.
