    Delightful

    I have knitted a shawl with this yarn. It is just a delight to use, so soft yet strong and slides along the needles so easily. The 'Arco Iris' colour has a lovely mixture of purples, greens and yellows which all blend together and give a wonderful melange of colours.

    Beautiful yarn, with delicate shading knits up very well on the baby's jacket at I am making to the range of colours to their best advantage. Excellent service and delivery.

Description

A soft and sturdy plied sport-weight, Arroyo has quickly become a favourite among knitters! It's perfect for those everyday lightweight (but warm) garments, and the superwash wool means it's easy to take care of. Think of it as Rios's baby brother!

Great for: Shawls, scarves, accessories, lace, textured stitches, cables, lightweight garments, baby and child items.

Blend:  100% Superwash Merino Wool
Ball Weight:  100g
Length:  305m (335 yards)
Needle Size:  3.5mm (US 4, UK 9) - 4mm (US 6, UK 8)
Tension:  20-22 stitches to 10cm/4"
Care Instructions:  Machine wash in cold water - dry flat

Note: Malabrigo comes in small dye lots so please be sure to buy enough yarn for your project. As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins, even within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows to prevent striping.
