I love KnitPro products, they cost a bit more but worth it. The only problem with metal DP needles is keeping the stitches on the needles for the first row but one you have joined the ends they work great.

Smooth great needles for small projects
Excellent quality as always from Knitpro, these 12cm needles are the perfect size for smaller projects such as socks. A pleasure to knit with !
Perfect for knitting socks
Very nice and work well with them. Recently I cheated on them with Karbonz, but I've already come back to them because in Karbonz I was annoyed by the joint that was sticking to my yarn. The price is also much more friendly. Great service and fast shipping in the online store, I recommend.

Zing are my favourite needles ever. Gorgeous to look at, not over-priced and the size details don’t wear off them. Lovely feel in the hand. And the stitches slide easily when knitting, yet don’t fall off easily when resting - how do they do that? The interchangeable needles are brilliant, too, and don’t come unscrewed in use, as some other brands do.
