This was my first Tunisian hook so I did not know a thing about them. I found this hook stuck to the yarn and made it difficult to use. In the end I had to polish it with beeswax furniture polish in order to make it easier to use. I did that around 4-5 times after which the hook was a lot better and my stitches slid along better. Now it seems to be fine. Not sure I would choose a plastic hook again though, just for that reason.

I was looking for a hook for Tunisian crochet all over the internet. I was unable to find anything that didn't have a rounded tip and because I needed a few larger sized hooks I knew they wouldn't be fun to work with. Finally I found these and I can't be happier! Light weight, color coded, smooth connection, great price and a pointy tip! The only con would be that the size that is printed on the hook did rub off halfway through my project, but because they are color coded I didn't feel it was worth taking a star off. Just be aware of that when you store them. Now just a quick review of Woolstack: These hooks led me here and this site is great! I am in the USA and all of my purchases were perfect! I HIGHLY recommend this website!
I use knitpro interchangeable knitting needles, so it seemed sensible to add to my collection with the Tunisian crochet hook tips. I love the sharp points which easily pick up the vertical bars. Also can be used for regular crochet. Would have given 5* but find that when using synthetic yarn the work does not easily slide along, and needs a frequent wipe to eliminate static.
