Gorgeous!
I've been tempted by this set for literally a decade, and I finally gave in and treated myself. It's gorgeous! The hooks are lovely (unsurprisingly - I have a set of Knitpro double ended which have been my pride and joy for a decade), the case is perfect and has plenty of room to add extra hooks, cables, etc, and the joins work really well, including the cable-to-cable join. The hooks are relatively pointy, which could be good or bad depending what yarn you're using. If you're a new crocheter or using very splitty yarn, it might be an issue, but as long as you're aware of it, it can actually make it easier to get your hook into the right spot. If you want more rounded heads, then this might be an issue, for me it's what I expected and wanted so it's not an issue. My set of double ended hooks has rounded heads, it seems like that might have changed or be variable, so I guess, that's very much a check the details and purchase according to your preferences. My one tiny wish would be for a better storage solution (internal pocket? a more permanent little envelope than just cardboard?) for the keys and joins within the back pocket, but I'll be able to figure out a better solution of my own so it's not a huge deal, it's just kind of a shame and I wish Knitpro had thought of it! Overall, a great set, compact despite there being potential to make some absolutely huge items with the cables, just generally very well thought out and beautifully made. Delighted!
