Yes I am glad I started using these as I do not like long knitting needles, also never liked old type cable needle but love these

The knitpro needles are a joy to use. Have been using them for over a year now, and would not want to go back to straight needles. I knit everything in the round, so no seams to sew up. (even sleeves). The only downside is that the needle size printed on the needles rubs off after a short time. So have had to label my needles in the storage bag supplied, to make sure I know which size is which, then check them with a needle sizer before use. I have been very happy with them and now have the whole set.
These were recommended and they are the best needles I have ever used. Excellent. I have recommended them to a local knitting group. Lightweight and practical.
I love knitting with these needles they are very smooth, light and the idea of switching them is an ingenious one. To be able to take a variety of projects with minimal needles away on holiday is going to be so easy. Also due to the length of the actual needles... no more poking through my project bags! Would like to know if these will be accepted through airports in hand luggage so I can still knit during long airport waits?!!! Woolstack have proved to be an efficient, price conscious retailer, well done for the prompt service.
I started off with the Symfonie interchangeable starter set and I'm gradually adding the extra size tips. These needles not only look good they are so comfortable to knit with. Smooth, light and quiet.
Although I had purchased a full set of the rose interchangeable needles, I wanted to do some vintage knitting on smaller needles which were not available in the rose range. So I purchased these laminated wooden ones. Unfortunately one broke as I was putting it into the cable. I rang Kevin and he immediately sent a replacement. I used the needles and cable for my knitting which had 296 stitches on, it was not until I had to use straight needles later on in the knitting,(didn't have the correct size in interchangeable needles) did I realise how good the interchangeable needles were. My knitting on the straight needles was all bunched up and hard to work, whereas the interchangeable needles and cable allowed the work to spread out and knit more fuidly.
Since I found them I won't use any other needles. These are so versatile, light but strong and so colorful!

Of course the colour is what first catches your eye. But, the beauty is more than skin deep. The layers of laminated birch give the needles a strength that is missing in regular wooden needles.
The stability allows KnitPro to shape sharp points- particularly nice for lace knitting.
Being wood, the burnished surface has a slight grip so slick yarns like mohair and angora don't slip off at the wrong time. This quality also makes them an excellent choice for beginning knitters, who sometimes have trouble keeping stitches on the needles.
The tips are between approx 11.5cm and 13cm long (including metal base) depending on size.
They are designed for use with all KnitPro cables, except for the 40cm cable as this is designed specifically for KnitPro short tips. While the 40cm cable will attach to these tips, it will limit the angle you will be able to get between the tips to around 60 degrees.
