Since discovering these, they've become my favourite needles. The points are small enough to pick up 'difficult' stitches--they are a breeze for all kinds of increases and unusual yarns. While smooth, the wood also has enough 'bite' to it to stop your stitches from sliding off. The junction between the metal and the plastic 'wire' is really smooth (critical) and the 'wire' itself doesn't tangle up as with many other brands. Expensive but a lifetime investment.
I cannot use metal needles as too hard on my hands so I am gradually changing needle sizes over to Knitpro Symfonie Wood as they are very smooth and warm to the touch. Great to knit with as well.

I am a very tight knitter and regularly go up two needle size SWhen using metal needles my hands sweat and it is difficult to slide the stitches along with this product they are very tactile and smooth My hands don’t sweat and a much better experience I have now ordered some dpns to complete the project

I have purchased Symphonie needles before but as interchangeables. Had to get fixed ones as interchangeables do not go small enough for what I wanted (why?). Lovely to knit with.
