A form of embroidery and similar to rug hooking, punch needle pushes thread or yarn into the fabric to create a design.
KnitPro's specially designed punch needle kit creates looped and unform "stitches" that form various patterns on foundation fabric. Simply insert the needle into the fabric and follow the outlined design. It has an adjustable length feature which allows you to vary the length of the loops. The set has 4 needle diameters which can be used with the wooden handle along with attachements. Different thicknesses of yarns can be used, with thicker yarns creating more textured designs and finer threads resulting in delicate and intricate patterns. The wooden handle is ergonomically comfortable to hold for many hours. All types of unique items can be made - from simple decorative wall art, personalised accessories and home décor items.
