I have one of these in my hanbag, another in my project bag and also a spare just in case! Very robust needle guage and easy to read. Useful ruler and magnifier. So may uses all rolled into one gauge.

Love the gauge for the needles, test it with my other made needles and is very accurate. Maybe is only me, when I use the gauge for my sample to count the stitches, always lost count, wish it has two holes at each end, so I can pinch down to count .
The cm measure would be easier to read on an edge of the gauge.

My generic gauge did not fit KnitPro needles. This does the job. Ruler is useful too.
I got this because I have detachable Knit Pro pins, where the size quickly rubs off the needle, and I found that the needle gauge I had didn't seem to be giving me an accurate reading. An added bonus is the magnifying ruler which is really helpful in working out the number of stitches you are producing in 10cms.
This gauge is super accurate, I love it. If you own knitpro (knitters pride in the US) needles, you need this. I have owned other gauges and I couldnt tell my needles size. Finally I found a gauge that works!
