The outer jacquard material is very pretty, but there was a split in mine when it arrived :( The chart just fits A4 paper (I think it's designed for American standard paper size). The long magnet strip works for landscape oriented patterns, but for portrait, the magnet will stick out of the case, so is not so good. There are just three smaller magnets, I think four would be better to hold each corner of the paper.
