I have been considering buying a set of needles for some time after using the wooden versions. This boxed set is really nice to look at and I have been able to add 2 more sizes. A plus point is that the needles are replaceable. Some sets come with special finishes which are not replaceable. The set is expensive but I hope it will last a long time and I will have many years of pleasure using them.

I have been knitting for more years than I care to remember and knit pro are the best product I have ever used . Gone are the straight needles as these tips are excellent and worth the money.
The Rolls Royce of needles, will definitely be buying more sizes.
These tis are definitely a cut above the normal wooden tips that I have been using for years, sooo smooth with a better junction of cable and tip. worth the extra dosh.
excellent product. I have used knit pro needles for quite a long time but not the circular karbonz tips. They are just as good as the straights and I will add a few more sizes to my collection.
I love the feel of these needles. The brass tips are very pointy - great for lace work. I haven't had an issue with the yarn catching on the needles as the previous reviewer has, so perhaps is the actual needles she has? I'm ordering a couple more as I really like these, although I prefer the Addi locking system to Knitpro.
I haven't tried these for a whole project yet, just completed a tension square and then needed to go up a size, but I didn't find them as good as the less expensive KnitPros in the sampler set I also purchased. The lace weight yarn I was using seemed to catch on the join between the carbon fibre and the metal tips sometimes, which was annoying. Maybe they are better on other yarns?
