    Light but a little snaggy

Very light, with a good smooth join between cable and needle, but the joints between the brass and carbon sections aren't completely smooth and can snag stitches. The brass sections are very smooth and allow for nimble stitching, and the carbon sections are a bit grippier so stitches don't slide along too easily. Depending on your preferences this could be very handy. While the high-end materials do make these needles very light, the weight difference between these and cheaper brass needles becomes insignificant once a few rows are knitted.

    fixed circular needles 2.5mm

I'm satisfied with these needles. The metal tip and carbon body are smooth but not too slippery and very light, overall comfortable to use. I'm not too excited about the joins, I was expecting them to be smoother. I'm using the needles to knit socks with magic loop and the cable was a little too rigid at the beginning. Now it got a bit more flexible. Wool stack super efficient, very happy about this site!

    Great needles !

Very smooth and flexible. Great to knit socks, two at a time. I was very happy to buy them at Woolstack, always very helpful and having a great customers service.

Sorry - can't agree with previous comments

Unfortunately, I don't find these as great as the other reviewers. The needles are light - 3 g vs 6 g for KnitPro Nova metal ones. The tip joint (where metal tip joins the 'karbonz' part) on my 2.25 mm (100 cm) is not very smooth. Also, I find the cable on these somewhat inferior to the KnitPro Nova, although certainly more flexible than on Addi (or similar) needles. Considering the price, I won't rush to buy any more. Give me KnitPro Nova any time! (P.S. This is in no way review of the Woolstack as they are excellent and always dispatch very quickly and keep you updated of the progress of your order!)

    The very best needle.

I have knitted for more than 65 years and used just about all the needles on the market and this is the very best, currently using 1ply yarn, mist circulars cannot handle such fine yarn. I knit every day and usually seamless and socks I knit two at a time on a long needle. These needles never fail to please and make knitting a pleasure.

Description

These are the new KARBONZ needles from KnitPro. These high-tech needles are made from carbon fibre with tips in nickel plated brass. The carbon fibre provides a lightweight, warm, flexible and strong needle with a smooth surface, while the nickel plated points are flawlessly tapered. This makes them ideal for all types of yarn and for every project.

The resilient, flexible cables lay flat with no kink or twist, making them easy to store.

The needles range in size from 2mm up to 3.5mm - please select your choice above.
