I always use these carbon fibre needles. They don’t make my joints ache like metal needles and don’t bend and break like wooden ones. The metal tips are great and are ideal for lace knitting and not splitting yarn.

the tips are not smooth enough, they hang on the miniature /tiny knitting yarn
My favourite needles. So smooth and light weight. It's such a joy to knit with them. Just regret that the size printing erases so easily with usage. Wish the manufacturer reconsiders that in future.

With all sizes, *except* 1mm and 1.25mm, the tips are nickel plated brass.
