    A useful length

    I haven't tried this with standard-length tips yet, only with short, but I've found it a handy size. I've been using it for knitting in the round with the two-circulars method; it's long enough, produces a useable angle between the needle tips, and it doesn't seem to get its own ideas about curving the way the 24" ones do. The ferrule being gold-tone instead of silver doesn't exactly add much to the experience, but if I'm careful about what I buy in this colour combo then the contrast should help me work out more quickly whether I've grabbed the correct length of cable for a project.

** If using the 40cm cable it is recommended to use the short KnitPro needle tips. Using standard length tips will make the length from tip-to-tip approximately 46cm, but will also limit the angle you can get between the tips and may make knitting very awkward.
