light and easy to work with
I really like these, a bit baffled by all the different material options, I might go for a different, harder wood next time, as the tips of these are starting to feel a bit scratchy? But v. happy with them all the same.

Considering how thin they are they feel quite sturdy when used

Excellent product. Bamboo needles great for slippery yarns.
Nice and light but too rough for anything other than very slippery wool. My Symfonie needles are much smoother.
They are very good, I completed the assortment with bamboo because I find it better than other materials, in my experience.
I have been using Addi interchangeable bamboo needles and Knit pro interchangeable bamboo on the same project - one for the rib and one for stockinette. But have just ordered Kni pros to use instead of the Addis as the join between the cord and the needle on the Addis creates a bump and my stitches don't slide over it without a good hard push. The join is smooth and problem free on the KnitPros.
These are the first bamboo needles I've tried (I usually use metal needles) and I must say I'm very impressed. They are very light, feel strong and warm, have nicely tapered tips, and contrary to what I've heard I find them smoother than the Knitpro Symfonie wooden needles. I got them for knitting super slippery Mulberry silk and find they are just right for the job - enough grip that I don't loose my stitches (even when adding beads with a hook) but smooth enough that they don't drag too much. They even seem to make my edge stitches neater! As I'm a fairly relaxed knitter to begin with the only slight drawback I can find is that I knit slower and get tired more quickly with these, because you get more friction than with metal needles. But overall a good buy.
These knitting needle tips are from the KnitPro Bamboo range. Simply connect the two tips to your desired length KnitPro cable (sold seperately) and you have yourself a circular knitting needle. You can unscrew the tips (and cap the cable) so you can use the tips with another cable on a new project. You can even connect a cable and cap to each needle tip to make a pair of extra long "floppy" single point / straight needles.
Made of the finest Japanese Bamboo, these tips are strong and sturdy, but also lightweight.
All needle tips have sharp and gradually tapered points, ideal for all knitting projects.
These tips are approximately 12.5cm - 13.5cm long.
All Bamboo Interchangeable Needle Tips are fully compatible with KnitPro cables and other accessories (sold seperately)
