Found the 9” circular quite easy to use, didn’t really have aproblem with the size of the needle and got used to them very quickly and fun to use for sock knitting. The join between the needle and the cable is very smooth on both sets. Have enjoyed using them and would definitely recommend.
Perfect for knitting socks, without the ladders. I have the normal ones and the sharp tips. A word of warning about the sharp ones. You can knit so fast with these little circulars, the point sometimes hits the same spot and can make a hole in your finger!It doesn't detract from the quality at all. I'm used to making holes with a quilting needle.

It's a little fiddly knitting socks on such a small needle, but far smoother than using dpns, and the rounds seems to go much more quickly. The points are nice and sharp, and it all seems a lot less clumsy than using dpns. Love them! Very happy with Woolstack too!
Love these small circulars. Steel tips plenty sharp enough. Lovely smooth join with the nice flexible cable. Great for socks, mitts and sleeves.
