4mm circular needles
I have arthritis in my thumb joints, but these needles are very comfortable to use. I wish they were cheaper.

Will buy more in different sizes
Great for slippery yarns!
I LOVE these needles. Wish I could afford to buy a pair in every size as my arthritic hands love them. Excellent service from great seller (as always)
These were recommended by a friend and I have found them very easy to use.
I definitely prefer fixed circular to interchangeables, and find I can get away with just one length of cable most of the time. Absolutely love the Addi Novel pins, but still think they lag behind others in terms of cable quality - these curl too much and I have had one that was clearly heat damaged. With a better cable (preferably a covered steel one), these would be perfect.
I love these circular needles and now have quite a few sets. They are very comfortable to use and prevent aches in fingers and wrists. A little more expensive but worth every penny. Service from Woolstack is very good. Highly recommended.
These are rapidly becoming my favourite needles as they are much easier for my arthritic hands to hold. Service from Woolstack is great - they are my preferred needle supplier!
I was very disappointed when I got my first Addi Novel, a 3.5mm interchangeable - and it caught all the time at the joint. It’s a raised joint, not a flush screw-in joint. In fact, I abandoned Addi novel for a year or so after that; I also couldn’t fit the needles onto the cables without 10 attempts (still don’t know how to do it properly). I returned to Addi novel by chance; I ordered a 4.5mm and that was fine. Anyway, for the smaller needle sizes, I’d say definitely go fixed.
addiNovel fixed circular needles have lace tips with an ergonomic design for effortless holding and knitting. The needles are square with rounded edges and a structured surface, which helps you grip the needles more easily.
During knitting, the needle design feels like a small massage for fingers and hands. This stimulates blood circulation and reduces tension, even when knitting for several hours. Perfect for those who have problems with their hands.
The long tapered tips are suitable for lace and intricate knitting. The design stops stitches slipping off the needle unintentionally.
The needles have addi's popular red cord, which is not only highly flexible, but also shows all important information about the respective needles: in addition to the length, the needle size is also printed. Despite the needle's unusual shape, they can still be measured in standard needle gauges, just like normal round needles.
